Eli is now 17 months old and with this age has come some intersting new personality developments. He is still the sweetest little guy around and is a constant source of joy and laughter for us. But while Sam and I watched our friends deal with toddler temper tantrums, stubborness and bad behavior, we smuggly thought that our little man was not EVER going to act like that...HA! A day with Eli involves jokes, make believe, lots of books, high chair revolts, more books, more laughter, play time in the back yard, walks with mommy and baby Nate, wagon rides with daddy, random acts of screaming (loudly), random acts of goofiness, and snuggles. It is the high chair revolts and random acts of screaming that are new and they make me realize that 1) every toddler goes through this phase, 2) Eli is still a sweet snuggly guy...but boy does he have his Momma's temper and is a tiny bit dramatic like other relatives (We wont name names here...one on each side of the family)! We love our little toddler and he keeps us on our toes.
P.S. The pictures show how Eli can go from Happy to UNHAPPY in a split second!

Oh My! Whatever IT was that caused this reaction must have been life altering! No? Well it was obviously VERY important to Eli at that moment. The best thing about toddlers, is that they forget quickly what they were having a tantrum about.
I agree that there is a "Drama King" lurking inside our little guy.
Love to all,
Gromma
The terrible two's can't be too far away!!!
Well, I certainly have no idea who the drama queen is on our side of the family. ;-)
Dont worry Bec, I am for sure the drama queen on my side of the family. I like to think of myself as passionate individual rather than high-strung! Ha Ha! Eli takes after us both!
Life would be boring if us drama "Kings" weren't around . . . who would provide all the entertainment at family gatherings?
