In Eli's words

I Am looking for trouble... and I will find it!
Look at the smile. This boy keeps us on our toes!

Eli keeps us cracking up with the things that pop out of his mouth! He is such a sponge and he will pick up something and save it for use at the perfect moment weeks later! Here is a sampling of some of Eli's latest genius:

While eating lasagna: " I found an ENORMOUS peice of pasta... I'm TRICKY!!"

while eating a bratwurst: "I'm Grubbing" (this is daddy-frat boy slang for eating a ton of food)

while eating the same piece of bratwurst: "Im going to town" (more frat boy slang)

While trying out a new food: "I dont like that...that means NO momma". (this one earned a talking too)

While supposedly napping: "HELP! My pajamas fell off!" (translation, I unzipped them, took them off and hid them under the bed).

while watching momma get ready for a dinner with friends: "Momma's Fancy"

While waiting in line at starbucks: "I want a marmel cacciato" (I want a carmel macchiato).

The list goes on and on! Pretty much, he is gigantic comedian and we NEVER EVER know what he is going to say or do next! We love that about Eli!

*****Eli is pedaling his trike all around the neighborhood without help! He pedals so fast that his daddy has to do the professor shuffle to keep up with him! ITs amazing how fast our big boy is growing up!

This is Nate's newest expression: Crinkle Nose!

Nate is CRAWLING!!!! He took off this past week after months of commando crawling, and he is SO FAST!!! The whole family is very intrigued with the newest mobile member of the family! HE is such a sweetie and gets around so well! Nate is also pulling himself up and lowering himself down on everything (milo included...very funny!!!). He says Mama, Da Da, dog and now Uh-oh. He is a busy, busy boy!

Happy Valentine's Day From the King Family! My two little flirts wanted to wear their matching "I love dirt" shirts today in effort to expand their cute factor and pick up more girls!!! These two are heart breakers in training with those big smiles and gorgeous twinkly eyes. Watch out ladies, the King Brothers are on the loose!

Snow Bunnies

We had 8 inches of snow last Thursday and had the BEST snow weekend ever! Both boys enjoyed doing sledding circles around our backyard (milo loved it too...he chased us every time). Eli especially like it when his daddy built a little hill and then would take Eli's sled over it in a little jump! Nate just took it all and laughed at our antics, though he did love the snow slide! They are such adorable snow bunnies!

Happy 10 months Nate!

Nate is 10 months old (well he has been since the 31st of January but I am lagging a bit behind these days). In honor of being 10 months old Nate has a HUGE new trick, he can pull himself up to a standing position. I put Nate in crib for a few minutes to get dressed and when I came back in to get him he was staning up holding on to the side of his crib with an ENORMOUS grin on his face. He was so proud of himself!!!!

I am pretty sure that Nate is going to stick with the commando crawl versus an ordinary crawl because as we all know, there is nothing ordinary about my boys!
