The Family King

Here are the first pictures of the five of us (Milo too). We are settling in to life with the two babies and enjoying every CRAZY minute of it!

Nate

Nate is 2 weeks old! He is a happy, sweet baby and is more alert ever day. He coos all the time and can lift his head up and turn it the otherr direction during tummy! He croaks at me when he is hungry but only really cries when he is too tired. Nate and Eli have a mutual admiration society going on for sure. We love our boys!

Park trip with the boys

We love our neighborhood park! Eli and Nate love riding in their tricked out stroller, and sam and I love getting out and about with the boys. All is well in King brothers land.

Eli and baby Nate

Eli loves his baby brother! We are so excited that our big guy has handled the introduction of Nate into the family mix so well. We still have to keep Eli from climbing into Nate's bassinett, swing, bouncer, and carseat...while Nate is in them. But Eli also is fascinated with giving Nate love (puppy kisses and pats on the head). Nate is a sweet little baby too, and I think our boys are going to grow up the best of friends!

Lasagna Night at the King House

Lasagna was a huge success at our house last night! Everyone loved it, but no one loved it as much as super Eli! He loved it in his mouth, in his hair on his face, on momma's face, and on the dog!

Eli is such a wonderful big brother, and though there have been a few small tough spots he is adjusting really well. Despite Nates best efforts to bring down the house during night time diaper changes, Eli sleeps right on through.

Nate is on the mend from both the jaundice and eye infection. After dropping down to 8 lbs 2 oz on monday he has gained 7 oz in the last 2 days and is up to 8 lbs 9 oz. He is handling the antibiotics like a champ, and is as much of a pig as his older brother. Nate is a sweetie, and is apretty mellow guy (definitely his daddy's boy)!

Nathan Robert King

Nate is here!!! Nathan Robert King was born 1 week early on March 31, 2007 at 12:37 am. He weighed in at 8 lbs 14 oz, and was 21.5 inches long. Nate is GORGEOUS! Sam and I just fell head over heels in love with him on sight. He has a little bit of very dark hair and his gigantic eyes look like they might stay dark too!

Eli thinks Nate is pretty fascinating and loves to pet him (like he is a puppy), and watch him when he is awake. Sam and I feel completely and totally blessed with our two amazing sons. So let the reign of the King Brothers begin!
