Happy Birthday to our baby boy Nate! 5 years ago Nate joined our family and we new right away that he was going to be such a special guy. From his first day he has been a happy, content, snuggly, sweet, love. We are so lucky to have this little boy in our family! Here are 5 things to know about Nate as he turns 5!
1. Nate is a rainbow kitty and would live in the magical world of Rainbow Kitty Land all the time if he could. He has a beautiful imagination that is full of colorful creatures, music, stories, and adventures! Being a part of Nate's rainbow world is special and we are lucky to share this with him!
2. Nate is a love. You will never meet a sweeter boy than my Nate. He hugs, gives kisses, tells you he loves you, makes you presents, and generally expresses his big emotions all the time. He would snuggle 24/7 and I love that about him. He is a gentle soul in a lot of ways.
3. Nate loves to dazzle! Nate's funniest quirk is his total love of bracelets, rings, necklaces, costumes, and wristbands. The boy not only loves to wear bright, colorful, jangling things, he also likes to make things himself. He is constantly cutting off the toes of old socks to make wristbands. He will ball up/tie together colorful yarn to make bracelets, hats, etc... The boy is pretty awesome with his sense of self! We love that expresses himself with so much color and fun!
4. Nate is an analytical master! So Nate has a pretty scary ability to put together puzzles, work on math problems, and spatial awareness games. He is definitely a logic and reasoning guy. He kept his preschool teachers on their toes last year with this gift and they had to order a whole new set of logic games, puzzles, etc... just for Nate! He seems to see order in things that others miss! My rainbow kitty is definitely an engineering rainbow kitty!
5. Nate is crazy! No really, he is! Nate is all emotion, all action, all gut instinct! He is a big believer in the old adage "actions speak louder than words". You can't predict what Nate is going to do next! With Nate, you either keep up or watch out! He sets big challenges for himself, is a crazy daredevil, and is constantly embarking on crazy missions! He is the King Brother most likely to end up with stitches (been there) or a cast! He just seems to thrive on the crazy!
We love you Nate. Every day with you is a precious gift. You make our world so much better baby boy!
