my little engineer

Look at that little face! Nate is absolutely Sam's boy! He has caught the engineer bug and is now a lego duplo maniac! Look at the City he built! Today he came down to tell us that he built a Computer and he did! He made a computer screen, a key board and a mouse with amazing detail! My boys are such a fun mixture of both of us!

Eli LOVES football

Michigan blows it again! That face is priceless
My two big guys watching football together!

Sam is absolutely ecstatic about a recent turn of events! Eli is absolutely hooked on football! Eli started showing an interest in the fall and then he got his Michigan football jersey for Christmas (thanks Grammy) and now he is a maniac! Sam has been waiting for this day for 5 years!

Good Times: Bowling

Eli: Striking a pose after a nice roll
Nate bowls like he does everything else: LOUDLY

We had so much fun bowling over winter break! We went once with school friends and once with the family! When we went with friends, Nate beat everyone (including a 9 year old)! He is too funny! We also had a great time as as a family and will be heading back soon!

Playing in the snow: Sledding on a Bump

We received a ton of great snow and warmer temperatures (nearly 32 degrees...balmy) so we were able to play outside in the snow! Snow men, burying each other in the snow and sledding on a bump at our neighborhood park was so much fun! Who knew that a 5 foot sloped bump could be so fun! The joy these guys get out of snow almost makes it worth it...almost!

Christmas 2010

Oh, what a fun Christmas we had! It was a really special Christmas this year as we have so very much to be thankful for! We spent so much together as a family and really loved every minute of it! We decorated cookies and our tree, we went sledding and opened presents! We read stories and watched movies! Then we all shared strep throat and spent the next week wishing we could stay in bed! It was definitely a Christmas to remember!

Dear Milo

Dear Milo,

It has been more than a month since we lost you and we all still miss you so much! You were the best dog ever! You loved your family something fierce and you were so loved in return! Your little boys will always remember you and we will always miss your crazy spirit! Rest well old friend. Love, your momma

Eli's 5 year stat's!

Goofy guy!

Happy 2011! So much catch up to do! First, Eli had his 5 year check up in mid-December and he weighed in at 49.5 pounds (92%) and 46 inches (96%). He remains a very large boy. At this rate he will probably stop growing around 6'6 inches or so. He is such a gentle giant!
