Nate is such a baby on the go! Look at him checking out the baby playscape!
Eli stands next to the Super-Crocodile in the dino-sphere of the museum
Daddy and Eli watching a model train go by in the "All Aboard" area!
Whew! All this play time is hard work!
Nate is cruising around the baby adventure area! The King Family went on a grand adventure today to the Children's Museum in Indianapolis, IN. It was AMAZING!!!! It is the largest children's museum in the U.S. and we were awed by the fantastic exhibits! We focused on 2 major areas that we knew our boys would love: The Dinosphere, and All Aboard a train exhibit!
Eli and Nate loved the Dino exhibit before we even got all the way down the ramp as they had dino growls, and sounds coming from all around us as we entered the dino world. Eli really loved all the dino skeletons (t-rex, triceratops, duck bill, brontosaurus, etc...) and got to use all his dino lingo! (he knows the names of all the big dinos...smartie pants!!!). But his most favorite was a new friend named the Mastodon! Eli loved the Mastodon so much that he woke up from his nap on the car ride home with this new friend on his mind. His eyes popped open, he took a big, gasping breath and said "I want to see the Mastodon".
Nate, loved the museum every bit as much as Eli and took it all in with giggles, squeals and baby babble! He especially loved the Dino exhibit and the baby play area where he could explore (and be released from his stroller!!!).
It was such a wonderful family day, and even though we had to travel all the way across the great plains of Illinois and Indiana to get to the museum (kidding) we are already planning a return trip this summer to explore the robots, and curious George exhibits we didnt get to today (and the dinos, and trains again).
We are a road trip family!
