Eli is 21 months old!!!

I love my big boy bed, and my best friend Milo!

I am an artistic genius...this must come from my Gromma and my Grandpa Stuart because my Momma and Daddy can't even make decent stick figures!

There are lots of changes going on in Eli's world these days. We switched Eli over to his toddler bed a week ago as he was well on his way to climbing out of his crib (thats what we get for having such a tall, tall, toddler). Only the first day at nap time was trouble as he ran around his room for 2 hours before he slept (and I mean ran, the kid runs everywhere). Now he is a toddler bed champ, and no Milo doesnt get to sleep with him despite how much they would both love that.

Eli has an amazing vocabulary and soaks up new words like a sponge. Even better, he now speaks in 2, 3, and 4 word sentences. Some of my favorites: 1) uh-oh, what happened? 2) Love you Momma, 2) the first line of the chorus of his zoo song "going to the zoo, zoo, zoo" and so many more.

Eli is the most affectionate little boy and he gives out loads of hugs and kisses, to Sam and I, his little brother Nate, but most especially to his dog Milo (who he loves above all things...even more than Momma).

There is no doubt that Eli is a bright and shining star, and he demands that everyone acknowledges this universal truth. When we are at play group and all the mom's are hanging out he comes running into the room and shouts "It's Eli". He is such a ham.

Some of his favorite things are drawing with markers (washable markers are not really washable as much as they are fadable...my arm is still tattooed with purple and red Eli art). He loves to sing and dance, and oh my how the boy can TALK!!!! More than anything Eli just like to go which means he is on the move (literally) from the moment he wakes up until he falls asleep at night. He definitely keeps us busy.

We look at this long, tall little boy and cant believe that our chubby little baby is almost 2. We love him so much!
