Have you ever seen someone so squeezable?

Dear sweet boy. He makes an adorable snow man!
Too big to nap any more so he just decided to take a rest with his eyes close!

This sweet baby has turned into quite a big boy in the last few months. The terrible twos have transitioned into an almost three year old who is sweet, loving, CRAZY, and so adorable. The best phrase for Nate is "content with life". I love this little man.

Do you know the lego man?

So Proud!
Beautiful boy!

Eli absolutely loves his lego table now that he has become a little lego master! He builds up massive cities, police stations, and of course pirate adventures! He constructs vehicles that can go on and off the table. Little legos have expanded his master builder capabilities and he would build legos all day (if we let him). I love when he tells me all about his lego adventures. He is all imagination with a big chunk of sass mixed in!

We are Back

Dear Family and Friends,
Our mommy is sorry that she hasn't updated the blog in a long, long, long, long, long time. We have had some interesting times recently and things have been a bit chaotic. Thank goodness for Gromma and Grammy and their love and patience with two very energetic and crazy boys. whew! They are sainted grandmothers for sure! So now, back to the good stuff. Ta Da... the King Brothers!

The web/climber/maze!
My little animal lover playing puppets!
HE is just squishy!

Thank goodness for the Children's Museum in Normal, IL! Just knowing that we can head there at any point in time on a cold and dreary day makes me happy (and considering we have nearly 6 months of cold and dreary, this place is a gem). Eli is old enough now to brave the net/climber that spans two stories. He was the incredible monkey boy and we had to restrain Nate (physically) from going in. My fear with Nate is that we would never get him out! They also love the water table, store, medical station, and legos! Eli, is of course a master lego builder (little legos or duplos) but our Nate surprised us when he started building with the tiny legos at the tender age of 2 and 3/4's. I love our amazing boys!

Oh, my natey-nate! Could you be any cuter?
I see you nate!

Sniff, Sniff... my baby isn't a baby anymore. Nate and I have been doing mommy and me classes at The Little Gym since he was 10 months old and, oh how my little man has grown! He was still 4+ months away from walking when we started and now he is known for his fearless and adventurous spirit! These pictures are from the last day of his mommy and me class (super beasts) where they award the kids participation medals! Look at those cuties. He has been in class with a few of these darlings for close to two years!

Illinois Children's museum

My little shopper doing some serious grocery shopping
Eli making Gigantic, kid-sized bubbles... awesome!
Nate trying to see how far he can make his bubble stretch

This weekend we hit up another Children's museum in Decatur, IL (About an hour from here). It was darling! The big hits were the bubble making center, the grocery store, and this awesome auto repair shop. Sam's favorite was the airplane/air traffic controller station! Of course my camera ran out of batteries but I did get a couple of cute shots of the boys! We still have several winter day trips up: Chicago Children's museum, Indianapolis Children museum, and of course our favorite, the Normal, Il children's museum!

Snow, Snow, Snow and other tales of Winter!

Snow monkeys
Look at that face! I want to smooch him!

Oh, Illinois! What a winter we have had! Snow, Snow and more snow followed by the coldest two weeks we have ever had the joy of suffering through! Just when we weren't sure we could take any more... Bam it hit above 25 and we were able to set the boys free in the snow! They love it so much! Look at those happy faces! My boys are serious midwesterners!
