More dinosaurs and two dino-boys!!!
Gorgeous lioness!!!

Oh, what a day! We snatched up the last of the good fall weather and made a break for the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago! Our main objective was to see the outstanding Robotic Dinosaur exhibit one last time before it leaves at the end of October! It was incredible! Eli and Nate (Sam too) went nuts for the dinosaurs! We also were treated by a ton of very active and happy animals. This summer it was so warm the animals were not alert but the bears, lions, tiger, giraffes, elephants and more were all up and moving! Our favorite animals were the bears! In particular the giant Alaskan Brown bear. He was swimming laps on his BACK in his pool! Too funny! We also got to watch one of the polar bears eat her fish as we ate lunch and the boys loved that! All in all, one of my favorite day trips with my family! The boys continued their trend of fantastic travelers and all around cuties!

It looks like we might have any early winter. Good to get out while you can. Great family fun!

I'll bet the cold weather kept a lot of people away so you had fewer crowds to contend with. Super pictures!
