California Trip: Disneyland Day 3

The boys met Baloo the bear from "The Jungle Book"
They met Goofy (we were eating at Goofy's Kitchen)
Chit Chatting with Aladin! They LOVED Aladin! He was so nice!
Look at the sheer joy on his face!
Rafiki from the Lion King was probably the favorite! HE was seriously silly

The Green Army from Toy Story had a training session the boys got to participate in!
Oh, yes! Lightening McQueen! They are opening a Car's area at California Adventure next summer! The boys couldn't believe it!
Could Nate be any cooler in this pic! Please notice Eli's R2D2 mouse ears!

On our last day at Disneyland we got to have breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen and meet a ton of characters! The boys loved Baloo and Rafiki the best and we just love watching how happy meeting the characters made them! Breakfast was an enormous buffet that served everything from 30 different types of desserts to traditional breakfast food to hot dogs and mac n cheese! The boys could barely handle the excitement of all of those food choices! After a very fun breakfast we headed over to Disneyland to ride a few of the rides we had missed and then finished the morning off at California Adventure where we got to ride 4 rides without lines in the Bugs Life section designed for smaller kids! Disneyland is magical, fantastic, exhausting and completely awesome! We all want to go back again next summer! Can't wait!

California Trip: Disneyland Day 2

Happy 2nd day at Disneyland! Grammy and Aunt Kathie were too funny!

Our second day at Disneyland was so special! Sam and the boys and I woke up a bit early and snuck over to California Adventure to use our free early morning entrance to ride the new Little Mermaid ride before the lines got big. We also got to ride the Soaring over California ride without any lines which was an amazing ride! We then headed back over to Disneyland to meet up with the family and Uncle Monty! He flew all the way to L.A. to meet the boys and catch up with us and we loved every minute of it! We spent the day riding rides at Disneyland, California Adventure, taking a break at the hotel pool and finally watching the World of Color water show at California Adventure! It was a LONG day but it was so special to be surrounded by family and friends!

We drove from my parents house in Pine Valley to Disneyland on Wednesday morning. We checked in to the Disneyland hotel and took off to meet Grammy, Auntie Traci, Dru, and Aunt Kathie at the entrance! It was so much fun! We went right to Pirates of the Caribbean and Eli and NAte (and all adults) loved it! We rode the jungle book, big thunder mountain railway and many other rides! The lines were LONG! Thank goodness we all got to be together! Also, thank goodness for Aunt Kathie who rode the Winnie the Pooh ride with Nate (3 times) so that the rest of us could ride Splash Mountain! My poor Nate just doesn't like scary rides! The kid will climb on, jump off of, and destroy just about anything but wont ride a roller coaster!?!?! After a fun and full day at Disneyland we grabbed a quick bite to eat and then I put the boys to bed so Sam, Traci, and Dru could go back out and do some fun stuff!

California Trip: Happy 13th Anniversary to us

We got to go out to dinner to celebrate our 13th Anniversary! What a treat!
To entertain the boys while we were out, Gromma let the boys go crazy in her big tub! Look at those bubbles
Classic!

We celebrated our 13th Wedding Anniversary while we were in California! My parents took over Brother duty for the night and we had a fun dinner date out! The past 13 years have gone by so fast and been so awesome that I can hardly wait to see what the next 60 bring! I am so glad that we got married 3 weeks after graduating form college and have lived and grown as adults together! Lucky us!

California Trip: The Legoland Adventure with Gromma

Eli climbing up the enormous tree! Look at him go!
All the way to the top like a monkey
W00-hoo!
Police officer Eli and Sergeant Momma on the police helicopter
This little cutie in the green is actually the boys 3rd cousin on Sam's side! We ran into Sam's Cousin Ashley there! Too funny!
Nate and Momma getting ready to bounce up!
The boys and momma on a plane ride that was FUN!

We headed over to Legoland with Gromma on the day after Sea World and we were there forever! Legoland is completely geared to little kids and it was extremely fun! We did realize very early on that my wild-man Nate is absolutely 100% against fast/sideways/scary roller coasters! Now my big guy Eli is a roller coaster nut! The faster, the higher, the scarier the better! Who knew! Gromma was such a trooper to wait and line and snap photos and chase after us all day! What a fun trip!

California Trip: Sea World with the Kenagy Family

sweating through the Shamu show!
Nikki and sweet Cami, and the King Brother's with their Momma!

Pop Pop, Nate and Daddy
Such handsome boys!

On our second day in California we headed to Sea World with the Kenagy Family and Gromma! We rode some small rides, saw awesome animals and roasted through the Shamu show! The kids had an amazing time together and it was so special to be able to share a day with Nikki and her family! Gromma was in heaven as she got to have 4 of her 5 "grandkids" to visit with! After we got home from Sea World all 4 kids ran around Gromma and PopPop's yard like crazy animals and we shared a fantastic BBQ! What a great start to our trip!
