UPS Art Show

The great hula-hoop installed art project. It spun like a carousel! Our hula- hoop is the only one at the very top. Nate's "Nate Storm"
NAte's Snow Storm
Eli's "Snail in a Cage"
Eli's "Snowman"

We love the preschool the boys attend! This year the annual University Primary School art show was held at the Krannert Art Museum on UIUC's campus! That's right, they had a real art show at a real art museum! You have to love a university town! Each child had at least 2 paintings and various other art pieces throughout the show. The best piece was the amazing carousel created out of hula-hoops that had been decorated by each family. 52 hula-hoops. Our hula-hoop is the lone hula-hoop that is suspended from the ceiling and served as an anchor for the rest of the sculpture! It weighed at least 4 times more than everyone else's because the King Brothers firmly believe in quantity over quality when it comes to decorating! It was an amazing night and the boys LOVED having their show at the Krannert!

Once again, how great is it that the boys get to have all of these experiences. They are growing up with an appreciation for so much more than video games and tv. Great art boys! Gromma loves this!
