The Miller Park Zoo

Eli on the move! This is a water baby!
On the loose!

Brushing the goats in the petting zoo!

So gentle!
We spent Sunday morning at the Miller Park Zoo in Bloominton. The boys loved the parrots (who whistled at them) the playing river otters and sea lions, and the very agitated tiger who growled the whole time we were there. Eli loved the carousel which Nate hated because the song offended him (seriously). What they liked the most was the water play area we played in at the end of our visit! They had so much fun! To make the day even better we got to have lunch with Aunt Valmere and the boys spent the time running around like wild men, splashing in a bird fountain and eating popsicles (Thanks Aunt Val). We love having family so close!

Oh, I love seeing the boys with the goats. I would love to have goats again, but the mountain lion would LOVE the goats, too. THose play areas are brilliant. They have them everywhere, now, and as long as you have dry clothes to put them in afterward, it is a great way to cool down and burn off energy. Aunt Val loved your visit.

Hugs to all,

Gromma
