We went back to the Scovill Zoo this time with Sam in tow! It was a great day! All of the animals were out and active. We saw cheetahs, camels, that scary alligator, my true love the peacock, and zebras! In the petting zoo when we put a quarter in the food dispenser we were swarmed by 25 apparently underfed pygmie goats. I thought they were going to eat Nate... he would be squishy and delicious! We road the train around the park and had a fun picnic lunch before heading home! I love these little treasures in Illinois!
Meet the King Brothers! Eli is a gregarious, inventive older brother with a wicked since of humor and a gigantic heart! He loves books, trains, building with blocks, reading, and making up his own stories. Nate is a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a broad streak of wild-man to make it interesting. He loves animals, painting, building with blocks, reading books, and running around like a crazy man.

Great little zoo. Was there a mote or something between that puny fence and people? If not, I agree, some day, some kid is going to be lunch. You must have been even prettier than normal for the peacock to fall for you like that. Love these pictures.
