Nate the road warrior

Nate is such a trooper. We went on a Momma and baby road trip to St. Louis on Monday for a checkup. He is doing so well. His platelet counts are right where they should be and he continues to thrive (look at those cheeks). He charmed all the dr.'s and nurses again, and his momma too. We had a good drive as he only fussed for the last 40 minutes of our trip home. Who could blame the poor little guy we spent seven hours on the road and only 3 at the hospital. What a day! We do not have to go back until the end of August though Nate does have weekly blood tests for the next few months. Keep sending all of the good thoughts and prayers his way, they are definitely working.

Nate,

You are definitely the cutest baby in the world! It is OK to say that, because Eli is now the cutest toddler in the world. We are relieved that your blood counts are where they are supposed to be, and keep praying that they stay there. Your Momma is a trooper, long road trips with a baby can be tough. One day you will all go to St. Louis for a FUN trip, because there as a lot to do there that you would all think of as FUN!

Love you,

Gromma

PS Looks like those beautiful eyes are staying blue!

Wow! Sammie you have certainly had an unbelievable couple of weeks. I'm sure the good news made the drive home easier.

Nate is getting so big. What a cutie. I wish I could give him a big hug. Gromma is so lucky she gets to see you all soon.

love to all
