Today was a big day in the King Household. We transitioned Eli from his High Chair to a booster seat (with lap belt). Lately, Eli has been a bit of a high chair tyrant and we thought that sitting at the table like a big boy would help contain his wild-guy antics (throwing, screaming, escape tactics, etc...). So far so good, Eli LOVED sitting with us at the table. As a result of Eli's chair move, baby Nate got to sit in the high chair in the recline position, so that he too could be part of the table. I think I like the switch most of all as this means that Nate will no longer eat dinner in my lap (he didnt want to hang out in the swing or bouncy seat while we ate). Nate loved sitting up in the high chair. Eli had a total toddler moment when we first put Nate in the highchair, as it has been Eli's chair since he was 6 months old and he didnt feel like sharing. But he quickly got over his chair angst and was happy to be able to smile at his baby across the table. We had a great dinner tonight with the four of us sitting tableside.

Wow,
It is so hard to believe that Eli is big enough to be in a booster chair, and Nate in the High chair. As tall as Eli is, it is probably not going to be too long before he doesn't even need the booster seat.
You will enjoy having both your hands free for eating your own meals, Sammy, and Nate will feel like he is part of the party!
See you soon!
Love to all,
Gromma
Those boys sure look happy with the new seating arrangements. Eli is such a good big brother. They are growing up so fast!! LOVE YOU
I can wait to sit at the table w/ya'll in a couple of weeks!!!!
Love,
Bec
I had to keep looking at Eli, in the picture where he is in his booster, he really looks a lot more grown up.
Good Times!
