Meal time is extremely interesting now that Eli feeds himself almost all of his food (we still supplement with occasional jars of yogurt and baby food). He lives for cheese, cheese and more cheese and thinks quesadillas are the best creation ever (California baby at heart even if he was born in the midwest). He makes a GIGANTIC mess at all feedings and has decided that sharing his food with the dog, and my belly button (we are sure he is feeding the new baby through my belly button) is beyond fun. He definitely keeps us on our toys and we enjoy every minute of it!

What great expressions! He certainly looks like he enjoys meals times. He is getting so big. I want to pick him up (messy face and all) and give him a big squeeze!!

You are trying to out-do your momma in the "Let's wear our food" department! I think I am going to have to dig up some old photos and we will compare!
Grandma Lonnie is right, even covered in food, you are sqeezable and huggable.
