We had such a fun holiday season with our little wild man. Eli makes everyday special but watching him unwrap presents and go into a toy induced coma made Christmas one of our most memorable Eli days yet! He is such a joy.
Right before Christmas Eli had his second hair cut as he was looking a little to hippy cool with his sweet mullet. Now he looks like such a little boy. He is growing up too fast.
We had a wild and crazy New Years Eve. Eli checked out at 7:30 like always, Sam checked out at 10:15 (he says 11 but sleeping on the couch for an hour does not count) and I made it up until 11:30. Eli had other plans for me though and woke up at 11:54 to ring or rather scream in the new year.
Our little guy is a crawling fool and will walk anywhere as long as there is something or someone to hold on to. He will go about 5 feet between Sam and I but really thinks that crawling and cruising are a safer way of travel. He is a bit cautious (must get that from his daddy as we all know that his mommy acts before thinking) but definitely knows what he wants. At the start of 2007 our little man says (when the mood strikes him) 7 different words: Momma, dada, dog, book, belly, baby, and bye bye. We think he is working on me and mine now which we are not encouraging at all. He is so vocal and sings and talks most of the day. Eli has also started rocking out and dancing to different music though he seems to prefer the cheesy 70's sound ringtones on our phones. He is such a ham.
Baby boy king is also growing big fast and we are now in the third trimester (27 weeks). Looks like we are growing another big one so our Dr. has ordered another ultrasound at 30 weeks to see how this little guy is growing. I think 9 pounds 6 ounces sounds perfect but Eli wants his little brother to be a hefty 10 pounds (as the mom, I veto that idea).

Hi Sam! Thanks for posting your blog link to the Yoga Moms. I LOVE checking in on the four of you!! Keep up the super work! Eli is SO adorable!!! We are still waiting for Danielle to get a big ol head of hair-I am jealous of Eli's loveable locks!! Smooches to all! T and M and D
See you soo, Rocket man! We can't wait to watch you zoom around the room!
Love you,
Gromma
Grandpa shared your pictures with his golfing buddies. They think Eli has a future as a golf pro. He has the smile to smooze the cameras and the build to launch the ball. If you let grandpa give him a cut-off set of clubs, when he is four, he will be on his way!
We can't wait to see pictures of Eli in his new Radio Flier Red Wagon!
Love to all,
Gromma
What a big boy Eli is!! He really is growing up much to fast. Yes, Sam like Eli, was always very thoughtful about what he did and when he did it. Never one to rush into things.
Why wait until he is four for golf clubs? He'll probably be big enough and strong enough by next year. Love you all.
