Nate has met his match

This sweet face masks the soul of a true wild man (though he really is that sweet!)

So Nate goes to a preschool drop-in program one morning a week for 1.5 hours (same place Eli goes to preschool). Nate's teachers assure me that he is the sweetest toddler in the class and is always smiling (this is usually true at home too). He has never demonstrated "crazy Nate" and knocked someone down, or taken them out (in a flying tackle no less). As a result, Nate has become a target of the class toddler bully. BABETTE! I am not kidding. The toddler room bully is a 21 month old named babette who weighs all of 27 pounds and is a good 2 inches shorter than Nate. On Tuesday I picked Nate  up to be told that he cried when Babette stole his cracker and taunted him with it by waving it in his face. What?!?!? Not my Nate, he would tackle a 3 year old for the same offense! So now we are perplexed and we are not sure whether to be pleased that he is not so aggressive or train him to knock down a girl! Hmmmm...

Knock her down, Nate. If you don't she won't learn from her peers that it isn't ok to be a bully. What would he do if Marissa did that at playgroup? Just curious. I know he would take Eli down.

He has such an angelic face.

Stay warm,

That is the sweetest picture of Nate. Where's the halo???

Grammy votes take her out. Bully's will not be tolerated!!!

Okay Nate. Next time she steals a cracker, go in for a sloppy wet kiss. My guess is that she'll leave a lover boy alone. Or... lick the cracker first. That always worked for me.

Stay as sweet as you are, Love Auntie Nikki

P.S. Natty Bear would never do that to you. She is always pushing food on her Bwice (Bryce). Conversely he supplies her with lots of carrots to feed all the horses.

Auntie Nikki is speaking as the momma of two sweet girls.

By the way Nikki, at 21 months, licking the cracker first might make it seem more attractive. You know, the old... "if he thinks it's good enough to lick, it must be good enough for me to eat." train of thought.

Hmmm... Never thought of it that way!!! Ewww Gross!

Nate, your Natalie could fly out there and take care of business for you. Babs is no match for Wonder Woman.
